Born in 1977 in Boskovice in the Czech Republic where she also resides and works as a freelance lecturer and artist. Graduated from the Pedagogical Faculty of Masaryk University, Brno (Czech Republic) with M.A. in English and Fine Arts in 2000 and the University of North Texas in Denton (USA) with M.F.A. in Fine Art Photography in 2004. She mainly enjoys working with large format cameras, experimenting with negative-free options and historical photographic processes. She teaches and organises photography lectures and workshops for various public and private institutions, adults and children.

Her photographs have been exhibited at numerous international group and solo exhibitions in the USA, France, Poland and the Czech Republic. Her work is represented in photography collections such as The Fine Art Museum Houston (Houston, USA) and George Eastman House (Rochester, USA).
